Korean Licorice Mint (Agastache rugosa; Bae Cho Hyang in Korean) is a perennial plant with aromatic edible foliage that forms spires of dark purple blossoms that attract beneficial insects, most especially bumblebees. The young foliage has a purple, almost black hint to it, and eventually matures a matte green. Excellent minced in salads or for a delicious tea, especially blends.
Other common names include Blue Licorice, Indian Mint, Korean Mint, Patchouli Herb, Purple Giant Hyssop.
