Purple Tomatillo

This purple heirloom (Physalis ixocarpa) is delicious as it is beautiful. Sweeter than the classic green tomatillo. Vigorous, sprawling vines with prolific yields of deep, dark violet fruits! Harvest fruits when the papery, outer husk has split and dried, and the fruit's skin is dark in color. This variety is delicious eaten fresh off the vine! An easy-to-grow uncommon variety.
