Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) is a wonderful garden herb, known for its lemony-citrus aroma and flavor. The fresh leaves of Lemon Balm make a delicious, relaxing tea. This plant is considered to be an uplifting herb; it is classically soothing. Lemon Balm is very easy to grow, and produces abundantly once established. It prefers a location with decently fertile soil, and plenty of water. An excellent variety for container gardening. One of our best herbal allies.
